| Thistlewood's capabilities for timber frame design, home design and frame manufacture are available separately under the name 'Thistlecraft Frames'. All the quality and attention to detail Thistlewood is known for in our complete custom homes is available in a Thistlecraft frame design. We have worked with end customers, contractors and custom builders, developers and architects to help them realize their projects. We have worked on structures as small as a garden gazebo, and as large as a travel center building. We have restored structures built in the 1800s, and have collaborated with the most modern of architects.
The different aspects of our Thistlecraft services include:
- fabrication of timber frame components
- frame design for an existing or provided floor plan and elevations
- SIPS panel or other enclosure design
- general residential design, to include timber frame elements
- site supervision for the assembly and raising of timber frames and SIPS panels
In short, most of the services we provide as a package to our custom home clients can be provided as individual services by Thistlecraft Frames.
