Located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, not far from the CN Tower and the Skydome (a.k.a. "Rogers Centre"), Thistlewood Timber Frame Homes was commissioned to contribute timber work for an artistic monument designed by Toronto-based artist Eldon Garnet.

The monument was erected as a tribute to the Chinese railroad workers who helped construct the Canadian Pacific Railway through the Rocky Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia, thus uniting the rest of Canada both geographically and politically.

This monument, comprised of timber work and bronze sculpture, is a representation of a railway trestle, dedicated to the workers who endured long hours and harsh working conditions and made the completion of the railway possible at great cost to themselves.

The structure can be viewed on Blue Jays Way just west of the SkyDome and south of the railway tracks in downtown Toronto.
